Why give Terrorist Rights?

I believe that the bill of rights applies to US citizens, not foreign terrorists.

Just because you happen to be in the United States, you are not a US citizen. Nor do I believe anyone on our shores is entitled to the rights and priviledges of a US citizen. Citizenship is a priviledge. Any phone conversation with a known foreign terrorist should not fall under restrictive laws. The government should have the right to monitor such calls. Even if a US citizen is on the other end of that call, I believe that that citizen has given up their right to privacy for the common right to life and liberty of all the rest of the citizens.
