Do you know how they are trying to teach your child? Sometimes poor grades may be a symptom of a more deadly disease. You are the best judge of how your child learns. If you feel that it is not addressing their needs do something. For example many public schools still teach the site method instead of phonetics. If this is your situation, buy the phonics game, search the internet for phonics aids. Do not let the system label your child when you can help them.
