Dust Off That Resume
by: Hustle & Flow
Have you updated your resume, lately. Even if you love your job, it is always good to keep your resume handy and up to date.
I believe that it should be addressed at least every six months. Does it show all the levels of responsibility that you have had? Does it even have your correct address? Are your job objectives relevant? Have you accomplished anything. I use my resume as a tool to track where I am on my career and life goals. If I am off track, then I need to make sure that my next experiences address or position me on to the right track.
Dust off that resume:
1. Check it for accuracy
2. Check it for relevancy
3. Check it for Gaps
4. Acknowledge your Accomplishments
5. Update the objective to match your life goals
